Scope of Work

• Testing: Monthly, quarterly, and yearly testing of utility water, critical water, and steam at specified locations. This involves tests for pH, Conductivity, Total Alkalinity, Total Hardness, Bacteria (HPC), Endotoxin, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Aluminum, Chloride, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Nitrate, Phosphate, Silicate, Sulfate, and Zinc.
• Consultative Services: Act as a subject matter expert on water testing, corrective actions for out-of-range results, and water system analysis.
• Training: Provide initial and annual refresher training to SPS personnel on routine water tests and safe chemical handling.
• Equipment: Furnish a handheld resistivity meter and pH hardness colorimetric dipsticks, with monthly calibration certification.
• Qualifications: Contractors must have at least five years of experience in water treatment testing for medical center distribution systems, provide five references, and assign a water treatment specialist with a bachelor's degree and five years of experience. A state of Indiana certified laboratory is required for analyses.
