Purpose & Scope
This is for market research and planning purposes only, not a solicitation. The VA seeks to identify contractors capable of providing all labor, parts, tools, diagnostic equipment, transportation, programming software, testing, and technical expertise to:
- Procure and replace specific OEM Caterpillar DEF system components: Relay Assembly (P/N 265-8025), Electronic Control Module (P/N 454-8355), Sensor/Sensor Kit (P/N 594-8693), and CEM Sensor Relay (P/N MC2).
- Perform functional diagnostics prior to programming.
- Program and calibrate the electronic control module and associated DEF systems using licensed Caterpillar software (Cat ET).
- Conduct operational testing post-installation, including hot/cold starts, DEF dosing validation, and drive cycle checks.
- Verify safe, reliable performance and document results.
- Provide OEM authenticity documentation and programming logs. Repairs must be completed within 14 calendar days of award. Transportation for off-site repairs is the contractor's responsibility.
