- Material Specifications: Ball material must be SAE-AMS-6931 or centrifugally cast 6AL-4V (ASTM-B367, Grade C-5). Seats must be MD71-GG Mearthane (Graphite Filled Urethane) from Mearthane Products Inc., Cranston, RI, meeting specific property values.
- Testing & Certification: Hydrostatic Test or Dye Penetrant Inspection for each Ball. Certifications are required for specified tests and materials, with detailed chemical and mechanical analysis.
