Interested parties who wish to become an "Approved Source" for this item must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. The SAR package, as outlined in the attached JACG SAM HB document, must demonstrate the prospective contractor's ability to manufacture the product to the required quality.
SAR Submission Instructions:

- If no open solicitation exists, SARs must be submitted electronically via the DoD SAFE file transmission site. To initiate this, email
dlaavnsmallbus@dla.milwith the subject "request a SAR drop off," including CAGE code, NSN, and desired email address. - SARs for fully competitive items (AMSC "G" codes or drawing/specification-based) will not be evaluated.
- SARs may not be processed if deemed not cost-effective due to low demand; bidders should review the DLA Supplier Requirements Visibility Application (SRVA) for forecasting.
- The SAR review process can take over 180 days.
