NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
The Army Mission Support Battalion (MSB) requires one angler participation slot for the U.S. Army in the 2026 Bassmaster Open Tournament Series and to establish a professional relationship supporting future outreach and marketing efforts. The period of performance is January 29, 2026 through December 30, 2026.
It is the Government's intent to award to B.A.S.S. Events LLC as the sole provider of entry into the Bassmaster Open 2026 tournament locations. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for solicitations must be emailed to Connie A. Campbell at connie.a.campbell.civ@army.mil and Rodrique O. King at rodrique.o.king.civ@army.mil.
The tournament dates and locations are as follows:
- Jan 29–31, 2026 Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, FL
- Feb 19–21, 2026 Sam Rayburn Reservoir, TX
- Apr 1–3, 2026 Lake Eufaula, AL
- Apr 23–25, 2026 Grand Lake of the Cherokees, OK
- Apr 30–May 2, 2026 Lake Norman, NC
- May 20–22, 2026 Kentucky Lake, TN
- Jun 18–20, 2026 Upper Mississippi River, WI
- Aug 20–22, 2026 Lake Erie, NY
- Three optional dates and locations based on qualifying events
