Quick Summary
The Department of the Army, on behalf of the W7NF USPFO ACTIVITY MIANG 110, is soliciting quotes for Handheld Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) Drone Guns for the 110th Wing at Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, MI. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ). The acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Quotes are due July 2, 2026, at 1300 EST.
Scope of Work / Key Requirements
The requirement is for two (2) handheld, rifle-style C-UAS drone gun systems and an on-site "train the trainer" package for up to 10 members. The system must be capable of detecting, tracking, identifying, and mitigating small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), specifically Groups 1 and 2, including both single drones and swarms. It must disrupt drone threats on both radio and GPS satellite frequencies, as well as commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) frequencies. The system must be small, mobile, man-portable, operable by a single person while moving on foot through rugged terrain, and not require stopping for setup. It should integrate with external detection/tracking systems and ATAK for cueing.
Legal & Vetting Requirements
A critical condition for award is that the proposed system must be vetted and approved under 10 U.S.C. § 130i. The apparent awardee will be required to submit a package for legal review by HAF/JA, including technical specifications and test/evaluation data. Final contract award is contingent upon successful legal clearance and compliance with FAA and FCC rules.
