Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To replace dry fire suppression system dry valves and air compressors at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Aliceville.

• Replace various sized dry valves and air compressors associated with the dry fire suppression systems installed in 2011.

• Inspect and test each dry valve and air compressor that is replaced.

• Place replaced dry valves and air compressors into service.

• Provide a report for each dry valve installed, detailing the type and size.

On-site storage requires a job box/gang box secured with a double padlock (one contractor, one FCI). Ladders must be secured. Adherence to BOP's tool inventory program is required. Daily inventory check sheets are required for authorized storage containers.

• Deliveries: Temporary on-site storage of materials and equipment will be coordinated with the COR. Deliveries can be received at the institution's Powerhouse (Utility Plant) between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Contractor or representative must be present to inspect, verify, and accept deliveries. FCI staff will not be responsible for accepting deliveries.

• Utilities: FBOP will provide 120V electricity for battery chargers and small tools, and restroom services. All other utilities must be provided by the Contractor.

• Site Restoration: Contractor is responsible for restoring the work location/job site to its original state.

• Delays: Be aware of potential delays due to institutional security lockdowns.

• Interruptions: Utility or institutional interruptions must be notified to the COR at least 5 days prior to scheduling.
