Scope of Work

The contractor will fabricate and deliver thirteen (13) 8,800-gallon covered water storage tanks. The tanks are intended to support livestock watering operations.

Key Specifications:

  • Material: 12-gauge galvanized steel (ASTM A568/A568M for thickness and ASTM A653/A653M G90 coating for corrosion protection). Thicker galvanized steel is required; alternative coatings or stainless steel are not acceptable.
  • Construction: Fully welded, conforming to American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1 standards. Welds can be overlapped.
  • Dimensions: 13'9" diameter, 8'8" height. Only tanks of this diameter will be considered.
  • Features: Roof with a reinforced lifting lug (sufficient for transportation) and a removable access point cover (at least 20" diameter). Internal support structure is required to provide integrity when lifting the tank from the lug.
  • Connection Points: Standard 2" front inlet, 2" front outlet (offset by 6"), and 2" rear overflow outlet, located on the sides.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price award is anticipated.
  • Period of Performance: Anticipated from May 1, 2026, to October 30, 2026. The project can begin at the date of award.
  • Delivery: All thirteen tanks must be delivered to Cane Springs Ranch, 10437 S. Hwy 93, Kingman, AZ 86401 (within the Kingman Field Office, Northwestern Arizona), within seven (7) months of contract award.
  • Transportation: Contractor is responsible for transportation to the delivery site.
  • Warranty: A minimum one (1) year warranty against leaks and structural defects from the date of final acceptance, covering all repair costs.
