Purpose & Background
IHS seeks to identify contractors, specifically Indian Economic Enterprises (HHSAR 326.601) and/or small businesses under NAICS 811210, capable of ensuring safe and reliable operation of biomedical equipment across the Health Service Unit's Administrative, Dental, and Clinical units.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, test equipment, materials, and expertise for:
- Visual examination for physical damage/wear.
- Functional and performance testing per manufacturer specifications.
- Verification of electrical safety and grounding integrity.
- Calibration checks where applicable.
- Documentation of inspection results and identification of deficiencies.
- Recommendations for repair, calibration, or replacement. All work must comply with applicable standards, including NFPA 99, Joint Commission requirements, FDA regulations, and manufacturer service manuals. A detailed equipment list will be provided prior to performance.
