Scope of Work

- Planting tree seedlings in designated units.
- Installing seedling protectors (Vexar Tubing) concurrently with planting on the Black Hills NF.
- Grubbing (cutting/removing vegetation) within an 18-inch radius of planted seedlings on the Black Hills NF, Bearlodge RD (up to 80 acres). The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, supplies, transportation, and labor, with the Government furnishing tree seedlings and Vexar tubing.
Period & Place of Performance
Performance is expected to commence in March 2026 and conclude by May 2026, contingent on tree arrival, site conditions, weather, and contract award. Work will occur in the specified districts of the Black Hills National Forest and Nebraska National Forest.
Performance Standards
Quality Assurance (QA) will be conducted by the Government, with contractors required to perform self-inspection for quality control. Work acceptance is based on final inspection by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
