Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide "as needed" turnover housekeeping services for 36 vacation rental cottages at Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area (BAFRA).

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of cottages, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and cleaning of all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.

• Manage dirty linens by collecting, bagging, and transporting them to the laundry facility, and picking up clean linens.

• Check for and secure any personal items left by guests, bagging and labeling them for the lost and found.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and appliances, ensuring all surfaces are free of debris, mold, mildew, and stains.

• Replace toilet paper and provide complimentary soap as specified.

• Clean interior and exterior of washers and dryers.

• Set thermostats, turn off lights, and lock all doors upon completion.

• Cleaning must meet proper cleaning and sanitation standards.

• No more than 3 valid non-conformances per month for Room Cleaning Service and Timely Cleaning Service.

• Re-performance required within 24 hours of notification for any unsatisfactory inspection.

• Services to be performed at Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area (BAFRA), 108 Riverfront Road, Kure Beach, North Carolina 28449.

• Services rendered starting at 11:30 am and completed by 3:30 pm on the same day.

• Supervisory prep work/early check-out cleaning may be performed from 10:30 am - 11:30 am.

• Contractor has 24 hours from receipt of service call to provide requested services.

• Contractor shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.

• Contractor shall provide management, labor, necessary supplies, and storage.

• A Quality Control Representative must be present on base at all times when services are performed.

• Contractor staff must wear company shirts for identification purposes.

• Contractor vehicles must observe speed limits and remain on paved roads.

• Communication regarding maintenance issues will be handled via a provided housekeeping cell phone.

• Contractor will receive cleaning lists and sign out room keys from the River Marsh building 143.

• Payment will be based on the number of times a unit is cleaned.

• BAFRA will provide trash bags, extra liners, toilet paper, complimentary soap, dish detergent, and coffee filters.
