Scope of Work
The requirement is for a current production model blast machine with skid mounts, designed to remove rust and paint. Key specifications include:
- Weight: Total weight (excluding media) not to exceed 4,365 lbs (1,980 kg).
- Capacity: Minimum 950 liters blasting media capacity.
- System Type: Dry blast system with a maximum working pressure of 0.76 MPa.
- Power & Air: Usable on 100VAC, 50Hz or 60Hz, single-phase power supply, and 0.69 MPa compressed air.
- Features: Must include specific valves, external dimensions, pressure vessel inspection, operating panel, air filter, regulator, waterproof electrical components (IP54), non-resettable hour meter, and be compatible with Garnet and Copper grid blasting media.
- Accessories: Required accessories include a bracket for the hopper, forklift claw provisions, quick connection for blast valve and hose, air filter and regulator, a 20m extension remote control cable, and three (3) button pendant switches.
- Integration: The Government-owned hopper will be mounted on the blast equipment. Four (4) lifting padeyes with a Safety Working Load (SWL) of at least 50% of the total weight are required.
- Construction: All exposed ferrous parts must be corrosion-resistant painted, and hollow spaces must be drainable. The lid for the chute opening must be removable and secure.
- Documentation: All manuals, labels, and stickers must be in Japanese or English, or both.
