Quick Summary

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command-Armaments Center, through the Army Contracting Command-New Jersey, is conducting market research via a Sources Sought notice to identify potential sources capable of providing integrated blast overpressure and physiological sensors for Government evaluation. This effort seeks innovative solutions for simultaneous data collection. Responses are due by April 16, 2026.

Scope of Work

The Government requires a device with integrated blast overpressure measurement and physiological monitoring. The blast overpressure sensor(s) must collect the entire time series, including peak overpressure, positive phase duration, and positive phase impulse, without relying solely on accelerometers unless verified. The physiological monitoring component must include Heart Rate, Respiration, Electrooculography (EOG), Gate analysis, Pulse oximeter (SpO2), and Electroencephalography (EEG). The system must integrate these sensors and signal conditioning to allow simultaneous data collection. Contractors are expected to build and deliver the complete system (firmware, software, hardware, configuration), provide technical information (interface descriptions, operating guidance), and offer technical support for verification, validation, and operational assessments.
