Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To restore three sections of Interkal Model G3 power-operated bleachers to a safe, fully functional, and manufacturer-compliant operational state. This includes replacing specified damaged components and conducting a full inspection.

• Comprehensive repair services for three-section, Interkal Model G3 telescopic bleachers.

• Replacement of four (4) new deck boards and associated H-channel.

• Installation of twenty-four (24) new BR Cantilever Reinforcement Angles.

• Replacement of one (1) damaged system gearmotor (1/2 HP, 3-Phase or equivalent) and its mounting brackets.

• Installation of forty-four (44) new aluminum end caps on seat planks.

• Replacement of all associated hardware with new 5/16" galvanized carriage bolts, nuts, and washers.

• Full inspection of bleacher systems.

• Work must be performed in a manner that minimizes disruption to facility operations.

• Work area must be cordoned off from the public.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Final demonstration must show bleachers fully extend and retract smoothly without binding or excessive noise.

• Completion within 60 days after contract award.

• On-site work during normal Government facility operating hours (0700-1600, Monday-Friday), excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise coordinated.

• Contractor responsible for all costs.

• Conduct a pre-work site visit.

• Applicable documents include Inspection Quote, Specifications of Bleachers and Images, Bleacher Codes and Standards, OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Manufacturer Specs (Interkal G3 Installation and Maintenance Manual), and Local Fire & Safety Codes.

• Contractor must provide all necessary tools and equipment (welding, lifts, scaffolding, power tools, hand tools) meeting OSHA safety standards.

• Personnel must be technically qualified with a minimum of three (3) years of documented experience in inspection, repair, and maintenance of commercial telescopic/gymnasium bleacher systems, with demonstrated experience in powered bleacher systems and structural steel components.

• No formal training of government personnel is required.

• Final Inspection Report detailing work performed, parts replaced, and a certificate of safety.

• Successful post-repair operational demonstration.
