Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide emergency portable toilet services for the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina due to facility closures caused by Hurricane Helene. The services include furnishing, placement, and servicing of portable toilets to maintain them in a safe, sanitary, and accessible condition.

• Furnish, place, and maintain portable toilets.

• Use skilled, trained, and supervised personnel.

• Provide units in natural colors (green, brown, or gray), secured against tipping.

• Provide toilet paper and hand sanitizer or soap dispensers, stocked at every service.

• Service units three times weekly, including pumping, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking.

• Wipe down interior surfaces with disinfectant cleaner during each service.

• Repair or replace deficient units within 24 hours.

• Remove and properly dispose of litter from units.

• Report any conditions requiring work beyond the SOW to the COR.

• Ensure ADA-compliant units comply with ADA and ABA, with accessible placement.

• Base Year: April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027.

• Locations specified across Watauga, Avery, and Buncombe Counties, with specific quantities of regular and ADA units per site.
