The core requirement is to provide subsurface data management expertise and support services to BOEM Alaska. This includes:

  • Managing geophysical, geological, geotechnical, hazard, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data.
  • Inventorying, managing, and archiving electronic and physical data (estimated 250 TB).
  • Supporting permitting and leasing programs, including Fair Market Value (FMV) evaluations, and Exploration, Leasing, and Development activities.
  • Developing data management best practice workflows.
  • Preparing datasets for internal use, publication, and archive, ensuring they are FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable).
  • Utilizing software such as Kingdom Software Suite, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Seisee, SLB Petrel, and Microsoft Office Suite. Key personnel requirements include a Project Manager, Geoscience Data Specialist, and Interpretation Geophysicist and Workflow Analyst. Performance will take place at the BOEM Alaska Facility in Anchorage, AK.
