Statement of Work (SOW)

This SOW outlines the requirements for upgrading a boiler system, specifically to add a magnetic separator, repair floor trip hazards, and replace the hot water manifold.

• Installation of Magnetic Separator: Supply and install a suitable filter to improve system performance and ensure compliance with operational standards.

• Repair of Floor Trip Hazards: Identify and repair all floor areas presenting trip hazards, including leveling, resurfacing, or replacing flooring materials to eliminate safety risks and ensure a smooth surface.

• Replacement of Hot Water Manifold: Remove the existing hot water manifold and supply and install a new one, ensuring all connections are secure and the system is fully operational.

• Prior to Implementation: Requires a site visit and survey, research of existing conditions, and obtaining necessary local permits. A document submittal package including product data and a work plan is required before award.

• Implementation: Includes area isolation and access restriction. Specific project details cover the supply and installation of the magnetic separator, detailed steps for repairing floor trip hazards (surface preparation, priming, mixing resin, application, finishing, curing, inspection), and the replacement of the hot water manifold (dismantling existing elements, temporary DHW production, auxiliary bypass fabrication/installation, DHW system circuit reconnection, and DHW return pump installation).

• After Implementation: Requires detail engineering and "as-built" documents, a final review with the COR to ensure satisfaction, and site cleanup to a condition equal to or better than prior to work.

• The project is located at Calle de Serrano, 75, 28006 Madrid, Spain.

• Work must commence within ten (10) calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.

• The entire work must be completed no later than one hundred sixty (60) calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This may be divided into two phases of 35 days each for specific CLINs.

• All work must be performed in accordance with applicable safety and quality standards.

• Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration Codes (OSHA), ACE EM 385, International Building Code (ICBO), International Mechanical Code (ICBO), ASHRAE and SMACNA Standards, and NFPA 101 Life Safety Code is required.

• A detailed Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) with safety plan specifications must be submitted within 15 days of the Notice to Proceed.

• The contractor is responsible for providing a plan for area isolation and access restriction.

• Materials for the DHW system circuit reconnection must be AISI 316L stainless steel.
