Source Approval Request (SAR) Program
Companies desiring to be reviewed and qualified as an "Approved Source" for this item must submit an application package through the Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. A SAR package requires technical data to demonstrate the ability to competently manufacture the product to the same or better quality than the OEM. SARs for NSNs with no open solicitation should be sent to the DLA Aviation SAR Program Office at 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 23297-5100.
