Twelve thousand three hundred (12,300); Carriage Bolts, Zinc Plated Steel; Each;  Style: Square; Diameter: ½ inch; Thread Count: 13; Length: 7-1/2 inches; Thread density: Coarse; Head diameter: 1.032 inches - 1.094 inches; Head height: 0.250 inch - 0.270 inch; Square width: 0.492 inch - 0.515 inch; Square depth: 0.250 inch - 0.281 inch; Thread length: Minimum 1-1/2 inches; Dimensional standard: ASME B18.5. Like Bolt Depot Part 12040 or equal.

The Army intends to award one firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. This requirement is being solicited as 100% small business set-aside and will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13.5.

The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 332722 – Bolt, Nut, Screw, Rivet & Washer Manufacturing. The related small business size standard is 600 employees.

In accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7; Contractors are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance and through final payment of any purchase order or contract resulting from this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quote and those conforming to the requirements of the solicitation may be considered for award. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Questions shall include reference to the RFQ number in the subject line. Questions must be received a minimum of three (3) business days before the closing date listed in the RFQ. No telephone questions will be accepted. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will only be posted on this website.
