This document is a Purchase Description (PD) for the supply and delivery of spare sections of Ultrahigh Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) fabricated into antenna skid caps for the Bonneville (BON) Passive Interrogation Transponder (PIT) Ice and Trash Sluiceway (ITS) Shield. The contractor will fabricate and deliver these skid caps in accordance with the terms of the contract and the specifications in this Purchase Description.

• Fabrication and delivery of two UHMW-PE antenna skid caps (CLIN 0001).

• Option to fabricate and deliver two additional UHMW-PE antenna skid caps (CLIN 0002).

• Materials must conform to specific physical and mechanical properties outlined in Section 7.5, including density, tensile strength, hardness, coefficient of friction, impact strength, water absorption, UV stabilization, and virgin resin requirements.

• Fabrication and assembly must be performed in an indoor, climate-controlled shop.

• Government representative will conduct a shop inspection prior to delivery.

• Period of Performance: All work must be completed within 180 calendar days of award.

• Delivery Location: Bradford Island Service Building, Bradford Island, Cascade Locks, OR.

• Pre-work submittals (Project Schedule, Quality Control Plan, Shop Drawings, Assembly Plan, Product Data) must be submitted via email to the COR for approval within 30 calendar days of Contract Award. Submittals must be approved prior to on-site work beginning.

• Government review period for submittals is 14 calendar days.

• A prework conference will be held within 14 calendar days after Contract Award.

• Invoicing requires a signed invoice, daily logs, and summary sheets, submitted as a PDF via email to the COR.

• Contractors must pre-screen candidates using the E-Verify Program to meet employment eligibility requirements.

• References to ASTM standards for material properties are provided.

• Attachment A1 provides a photo of the BON PIT ITS Shield, and Attachment A2 provides reference drawings.

• Contractor is responsible for any damages to Government property.

• Work is not required on recognized Federal holidays.
