• Connector Details: Connectors between culvert sections are manufacturer-dependent and not part of the design.
• Culvert Dimensions: Each culvert section requires an internal span of 16ft, a rise of 8ft, and a length of 78ft (excluding end sections). Wall, floor, and ceiling thickness is 1ft, with 1ft chambers.
• Design Load: The design load for all three structures is E-80 train. Reinforcing schedules vary by manufacturer and are not specified as the culverts are pre-engineered.
• Drawings: Detailed drawings for the box culverts have been added to the SAM posting.
• Soil Cover: The culverts will have a maximum of 3ft of fill, with approximately 18 inches of ballast on top. The ballast will be provided by the government.
• Vehicle Load Rating: Refer to the answer for design load (E-80 train).

• Delivery: All culverts are needed as soon as possible, with a delivery requirement on or before January 30, 2026.
