• Procure one (1) Mettler Toledo brand mass comparator, Model XPR10003SC.

• The comparator must be new, laboratory grade, and have a 10 kg capacity with 1 mg readability.

• Key technical specifications include:

  • Repeatability < 2 mg (without vibration isolation)
  • Temperature drift < 0.0004 % of reading/°C
  • Settling time < 5 s
  • Footprint (excluding draft shields) able to fit a 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft area.
  • Must include a "hanging" hook for suspended weighing.
  • Must be compatible with the Fluid Metrology Group's existing software for data acquisition.
