Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for repair and service of the Breathing Air System for the 437th MXS on Joint Base Charleston, SC (JB CHS) - Air Base (AB).

• Perform equipment services, including repair and service on the Breathing Air System located in Building 515.

• Services will be performed on existing Gardner Denver VS50 Breathing Air Compressors and DBS205 Breathing Air Dryer/Purifiers.

• The location of the Air Compressors is in the Corrosion Control Facility.

• Replace four (4) coolers (two for compressor number one, two for compressor number two).

• Perform preventative maintenance on compressor number two only.

• Provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the work.

• Includes removal of existing equipment, purchase, installation, and modification of new equipment.

• Four Compressor Coolers VS-50 NON-OEM (P/N GI 00007946) or equal.

• 4000 Hr KCK4210 Maintenance Kit.

• 4000 Hr GDBS205 Maintenance Kit.

• Two MLS3903 Cartridges.

• Two Filter Elements 6526.

• All necessary assembly hardware, including bolts, nuts, miscellaneous materials, cleaners, sealants, and expendables.

• EnviroAlre VS50 G1000007946R Non-OEM water cooler or equal.

• Minimum salient characteristics: 35" X 29.25" X 6 rows, Copper tubing (0.50OD X 0.016), .006 Aluminum fins, Galvanized Steel-Flanged casing, Copper connection.

• The work is to be performed at Joint Base Charleston, SC (JB CHS) - Air Base (AB).

• 437 MXS hours of operation are 6:30AM to 5:00PM Monday thru Friday, unless otherwise notified.

• Contractor shall be completely mobile and self-contained, including industrial/hazardous waste management, clean-up, and disposal.

• Repairs and modifications must be performed by qualified/certified mechanics experienced with the equipment.

• Contractor shall employ a commercial quality control program to ensure quality services.

• Includes clause 5352.201-9101 AMC regarding an ombudsman for resolution of concerns from offerors. Inquiries regarding the solicitation, offer due date, or technical requirements should be directed to the contracting officer.
