Purpose

Scope of Work
The requirement is for comprehensive maintenance services for the Whelen-branded Giant Voice system at Buckley SFB. This includes providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, and services necessary to ensure the system's continuous, reliable, and effective operation for all-hazards alerts, notifications, emergency tones, voice announcements, and scheduled music (Reveille, Retreat, Taps). Key aspects include:
- Maintenance of towers, control units, and associated software.
- Maintenance of one (1) portable Giant Voice control unit.
- Performance Standards:
- Response Time: Within 2 hours for critical system failures, with diagnostics and repair starting within 4 hours.
- Preventative Maintenance: Two (2) comprehensive semiannual inspections and monthly tower inspections.
- Repairs: Restore system to 100% operability within 24 hours of malfunction determination, with repairs completed within 5 days of parts receipt.
- Reporting: Initial status reports within 24 hours of service calls, daily for ongoing troubleshooting, and service reports within 48 hours of completion.
