Purpose & Scope
The objective is to procure and install three self-contained relaxation pods to enhance the overall wellness and mental resilience of service members at Buckley SFB, who operate in a high-stress environment. The pods should provide a private, immersive environment for mindfulness exercises and stress-reducing activities.
Key Requirements
The Government requires a commercial, off-the-shelf solution. Each of the three pods must include:
- Visual Relaxation Content: High-definition (min. 1280x720) display (min. 40 inches) with a pre-loaded, subscription-free library of tranquil nature scenes, guided meditations, and mindfulness content. No internet connectivity is required for core functionality.
- Personalized Comfort: User-selectable options, including integrated cooling fans and heated seating.
- Biometric Monitoring: Ability to monitor heart rate without storing or transmitting Personal Identifiable Information (PII) or Personal Health Information (PHI).
- User Privacy: Fully or partially enclosed unit.
- Site Specifications: Each pod requires an 8' x 10' space, one standard 110V outlet, and a CAT-5 network connection for software updates. No special room construction is needed.
