Quick Summary
The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking proposals for the Building 2-3 Roof Replacement project at the North Central Soil Conservation Research Laboratory (NCSCRL) in Morris, MN. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity for a Firm Fixed-Price contract. Quotes are due by March 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Central Time.
Scope of Work
The project involves the complete removal of the existing roofing system on Building 2-3, down to the metal deck, and the installation of a new EPDM roofing system. This includes preparing the roof deck, installing substrate board, vapor barrier, insulation, coverboard, walkways, flashing, coping, trim, and accessories. The scope also covers replacing all roofing coping-flashing installations, modifying/extending existing vent pipe flashing and equipment curbs, and potentially protecting/disconnecting/re-installing roof-mounted HVAC units if height adjustments are required. A significant addition via amendment is an option for 500 sq ft of steel decking repair. All work must comply with Minnesota State Building Codes, NEC, and Factory Mutual (FM) ratings, ensuring a weather-tight installation that qualifies for a manufacturer's warranty.
