Request for Information (RFI)

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research for the "Building 5077 Garage Door Installation" requirement. Statement of Need / Attachment

To address immediate operational requirements for securing Building 5077, a critical staging and storage facility, by installing industrial-grade garage doors with electrical mechanisms. This is to mitigate hazards including material degradation from environmental exposure, wildlife intrusion, and associated occupational health, safety, and sanitation risks.

• Installation of two (2) interior coil weathered service garage doors.

• Doors specified are Cornell Iron Works Model ESD 10 or equivalent.

• Key door specifications include: 22-gauge galvanized steel curtain, standard gray factory finish, extruded mill finish aluminum bottom bar, lintel brush seal, single guide weathering, bottom bar astragal, motor operated, photo eyes, and rated for 20 psf wind load.

• Each door will measure 20FT x 20FT.

• Electrical work required includes installing a dedicated 120 Volt, 20 Amp circuit to each motor, setting a disconnect at each motor, and hardwiring.
