Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for the "BUILDING 51 PAINTING AND FLOORING REPLACEMENT" project at the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) Boulder Campus. The project aims to repaint and replace flooring in Building 51 to enhance energy efficiency, safety, and overall functionality, aligning with NIST site standards and addressing aging infrastructure.

• Flooring: Removal and replacement of approximately 1500 sq ft of carpet tile, transition strips, and cove base. Specific materials include Armstrong Standard Excelon Imperial VCT for bathrooms and Milliken "Major Frequency - One Distortion, Perceive" carpet tile for specified rooms. Installation of 4-inch "Grey Haze" cove base throughout.

• Painting: Approximately 1500 sq ft of interior wall painting. This includes patching, sanding, and texturing walls, applying one coat of Sherwin-Williams premium primer to corridor walls, and painting corridor walls and door frames with Sherwin-Williams Pure White (eggshell finish) and Dunn-Edwards Silver Polish (semi-gloss finish) respectively.
