Evaluation
The proposed action is a sole source to Mano Lani LLC, justified under 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 12.102, restricting competition. Companies that believe they can provide these services must submit a detailed capability statement in writing. All responsible sources will be considered in evaluating the determination to issue a sole-source contract. This is not a request for quote or proposal, and a solicitation will not be posted.
Additional Notes
Mano Lani LLC has specialized knowledge of DISA-PAC's IT and cabling infrastructure from two previous contracts, including their standards for labeling and materials. Mano Lani will subcontract the furniture portion to Contract Furnishers of Hawaii Inc, dba Office Pavilion, a Women-Owned Small Business and Certified Herman Miller dealer for Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. Both companies possess Secret Facility Clearances, which is a special requirement for this project. This approach ensures uniformity with previous installations and operational security.
