To provide Central Notification Services for the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve (JELA) to facilitate public reporting of incidents and criminal activity, and to provide safety accountability for back-country operations.

• Provide a toll-free telephone number for public incident/criminal activity reporting and for park staff/researchers to report back-country activity start/end times.

• Actively monitor, log, and respond to calls 24/7.

• Maintain a "PUBLIC REPORTED INCIDENT OR CRIMINAL ACTIVITY" log in MS Excel format, including fields for Date, Report Time, Reporter Name, Reporter Phone Number, Location of Incident/Criminal Activity, What Was Reported, and Response Taken.
