Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to consolidate fire and intrusion alarm monitoring services for the Jean Lafitte National Park and Preserve (JELA) and New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park (JAZZ) into a single service contract. The National Park Service, Contracting Operations East, is issuing this solicitation.

To provide Central Notification Services for the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve (JELA) to facilitate public reporting of incidents and criminal activity, and to provide safety accountability for back-country operations.

• Actively monitor, log, and respond to calls 24/7.

• Maintain a "BACK-COUNTRY ACTIVITY" log in MS Excel format, including fields for Date, Start Time, Group Leader Name, Leader Cell Phone Number, Location Leaving From, Expected End Time, End Time, and Notes.

• If a Group Leader does not call back within 15 minutes of their expected end-time, attempt to contact them, then notify Park POCs via text broadcast, and telephonically notify the first positive contact from the POC list.

• Response to calls on a 24 hours day, 7 days a week basis.

• Estimated 20 public incident/criminal activity notifications per month.

• Estimated 60 back-country activity notifications per month.
