The new chiller must feature R454B refrigerant, 200-208/3/60 application power, low-ambient operation to -10°F, VSD fans, post-coated dipped coils, and BAC Net compatible controls. Key tasks include:
- Demolition and removal of the existing 25-ton McQuay chiller and associated supply/return piping.
- Installation of new piping components, including vibration isolators, valves, strainers, gauges, thermometers, and self-regulating heat tape.
- Application of 2" thick fiberglass pipe insulation with aluminum roll jacketing.
- Balancing of water flow by a certified contractor, providing a documented report.
- Reconnection of the chiller to the Building Automation System (BAS) (Metasys and/or Tridium).
- Installation of all necessary power and control wiring.
- Factory start-up and proper operation of the new chiller and associated equipment.

Evaluation & Submission
