  • Personnel Security: Developing Navy Medicine policy and procedures for criminal history background checks for service members involved in DoD childcare services, ensuring compliance with 34 USC § 20351, 32 CFR Part 86, and DoDI 1402.05. This involves drafting policies, creating adjudication criteria, developing tracking tools, and preparing training materials.
  • Emergency Management (NDMS/FCC): Providing support to the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) Federal Coordinating Center (FCC). This includes developing operational plans, coordinating patient movement, integrating with healthcare coalitions, maintaining readiness documentation, and ensuring continuity of operations. Tasks involve revising CONOPS, developing patient reception plans, managing bed reporting, and creating readiness metrics.
