Requirements Description:  This valve is located in the bulk transfer pumping assembly at the rear of the vehicle. Its purpose is to control the flow of a fluid. In the case of a butterfly valve, fluid flow is controlled by a disc that can be found in the middle of the pipe. When the valve is open, the disc is parallel to the flow of fluid, and when the valve is closed, the disc is perpendicular to the flow of fluid, blocking the pipe. The valve was designed specifically for this application on the vehicle.
