NPS requires comprehensive AE services to plan, design, and prepare construction documents for the park's rehabilitation. Key tasks include:
- Complete Site Investigation/Assessment (70% Draft and Final Reports).
- Conduct Geotechnical Survey.
- Develop two original design alternatives for presentation to the Commission of Fine Arts and National Capital Planning Commission, utilizing elements from the Buzzard Point Environmental Assessment (EA) and 30% Schematic Design (SD).
- Investigate the feasibility of a Living Shoreline.
- Evaluate adding a restroom facility to the existing PEPCO Building or as a stand-alone structure.
