Quick Summary
The Department of the Interior / IBC ACQ SVCS DIRECTORATE intends to issue an order against an existing Single-Award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Architectural and Engineering (A&E) design services to upgrade the commercial kitchen and servery at the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) Gulfport.
Scope of Work
The scope includes comprehensive A&E design services, starting with an on-site survey and evaluation of existing equipment for reuse. The design will focus on redesigning the layout and flow of the kitchen and servery. Discipline-specific designs (architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing) are required to resolve known deficiencies such as dishwasher power issues, ventilation and make-up air, tray return reliability, drainage and grease trap access, cooler/freezer capacity and condition, and hood type/controls. The project also includes concepts for conveyor layout and minor structural penetrations. Deliverables will progress from concept to schematic and construction document levels, encompassing planning, management, discipline drawings/specifications, and coordination meetings.
