Scope of Work
The requirement is for a one-time, campus-wide survey to identify cast-iron components in high-temperature and high-pressure utility systems. Key deliverables include:
- Conducting an interior and exterior steam distribution survey.
- Identifying and inventorying all cast iron, ductile, or malleable fittings, valve housings, piping, and components in systems operating at ≥15 PSIG (steam) or >257°F (high-temperature liquid).
- Physically verifying all locations, not solely relying on as-built drawings.
- Utilizing approved non-destructive testing (NDT) methods for material identification.
- Developing a risk assessment and interim safety measures.
- Submitting a final technical report electronically, including detailed findings, recommended replacement components, red-lined drawings, risk assessments, and evaluator credentials.

Evaluation
Proposals will be evaluated based on Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Lowest Price. Technical and Past Performance combined are considered equal to Price. Offerors must provide at least one customer reference demonstrating relevant past performance of similar size and scope, and proposals should show understanding of the operational environment, patient safety sensitivity, and documentation abilities.
