Scope of Work
The contractor will provide a complete Life Safety Assessment SOC. Key tasks include:
- Conducting physical on-site surveys of buildings at VHSO and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) to determine compliance with NFPA 101, VA Fire Protection Design Manual, and Joint Commission requirements.
- Reviewing and verifying occupancy classifications, fire/smoke barriers, dampers, exit access, egress paths, travel distances, electrical closets, transformer rooms, exit stairways, signage, and fire extinguisher locations.
- Documenting deviations with pictures and code references.
- Reviewing and assisting in updating electronic Joint Commission data.
- Providing updated SOC drawings in electronic format (AutoCAD and PDF).
- Constructing an SOC binder including qualifications, building descriptions, life safety assessments, floor plan drawings, and a preliminary Plan for Improvement (PFI).
- Providing support via a unique log-in Data Innovations Customer Web Portal.
- Conducting an exit conference with VHSO leadership, Safety Office, and Engineering staff.
Period & Place of Performance
The Period of Performance is 120 calendar days. Work must be completed between 0800 and 1700 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Locations include:
- Veterans Healthcare Systems of the Ozarks (VHSO), Fayetteville, AR.
- Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Fort Smith, AR; Branson, MO; Joplin, MO; Jay, OK; Ozark, AR.
- Other affiliated locations in Fayetteville, AR.
