This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for a discounted, firm-fixed-priced quotation and technical quotation package for an 18-ft long, 60-inch bottom width jetboat with an equal to or larger 4-stroke Mercury 80hp jet engine, and a trailer with all associated towing accessories. The primary use is for field programs supporting the California Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit for sampling fishes and associated habitats in freshwater systems. This is a Small Business Set-Aside.

• Jetboat: Minimum 18ft length, 18ft aluminum, 60-inch bottom width. Must include T-top, glass fold-down windshield, at least two passenger seats, center-console driving station, bench seat for two, in-floor/under-seat/in-bow storage, 0.160" aluminum thickness for bottom and transom, all necessary batteries and wiring, battery shutoff switch, navigation lights, open working area on the bow, and a bilge pump.

• Motor: Equal to or greater than a 4-stroke Mercury 80hp jet. Must include or exceed 35 amp/441 watt with water-cooled voltage regulator, and at least 2.1L displacement. Must be installed with all cables and fuel lines attached, mounted to reduce center of gravity, and have exhaust with mufflers.

• Trailer: Designed to haul the specified jetboat, with guides for loading/trailering, standard electrical hookup, all running and break lights, winch, rear step, and submersible lights.

• Delivery: Within 45 days of award.

• Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).

• Submission Deadline: 1:00 PM EST, Friday, June 26, 2026.

• Submission Method: Email to brian_baker@ios.doi.gov in PDF format.

• Required Documents: All quotation documents in PDF format, Business Size Classification, SAM UEI, Country of Manufacture, Signed SF-18, and all Amendments.

• Questions Deadline: 1:00 PM EST, Friday, June 19, 2026, via email to the Contract Specialist.

• This RFQ is set aside for Small Business concerns. Only quotes from Small Business concerns will be accepted.

• Faxed or mailed quotations will not be accepted.

• Vendors must submit a thorough quotation package demonstrating compliance with all requirements.

• The document also includes standard FAR clauses related to contract terms, conditions, and prohibitions (e.g., telecommunications, supply chain security, malicious code, DEI, etc.).
