The project is located in Inyo National Forest in Mono County, California. The beginning of the project is at the intersection of Highway 120 and Saddlebag Lake Road which is 9.9 miles east of the intersection of US 395 and CA 120 in Lee Vinning, California. The project begins at 37.938431, -119.249150 proceeding north for approximately 2.5 miles on Saddlebag Lake Road to the terminus in the parking lot at 37.965824, -119.270646.
The work includes subsurface investigations in the existing roadway. The surfacing for Saddlebag Lake Road has approximately 1.2 miles of existing pavement and 1.3 miles of native material sections.
It is anticipated the work for Saddlebag Lake Road will consist of 10 shallow pavement boring locations
along the 2.5 mile route.
