Scope of Work
This requirement is for the manufacture and quality control of CABLE ASSEMBLY,SPEC. Key technical specifications include:

- Configuration Control: Adherence to MIL-STD-973, Paragraph 5.4.8, for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Deviations, and Waivers, submitted to NAVICP-MECH. Contractors must notify the PCO of prior authorization for later drawing revisions.
- Mercury-Free Requirement: Material must be free from metallic mercury and contamination, intended for submarine/surface ship use. Strict protocols for testing and approval for any functional mercury inclusion are in place. Subcontractor compliance is mandatory.
