Quick Summary
The U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is conducting a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ 70Z03826QB0000091) for Cable Assembly (P/N: 700-183-2). This requirement is for 94 units of a highly specialized spare part for MH-65 helicopters. The procurement is anticipated to be a sole-source award to Loos & Co, Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), due to critical traceability and safety requirements. However, other responsible sources capable of providing new, OEM-traceable parts with a Certificate of Conformance (COC) are invited to submit quotations. Offers are due by April 13, 2026, at 09:00 am EDT.
Scope of Work
The solicitation seeks 94 units of CABLE ASSY (NSN: 4010-01-HR1-1966, Part Number: 700-183-2). NO SUBSTITUTE OR ALTERNATE PARTS WILL BE CONSIDERED, AND ONLY NEW PARTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The requested delivery date is September 1, 2026, with F.O.B. Destination preferred. Evaluation & Award
Award will be based on fair and reasonable pricing. Technical acceptability will be evaluated as "acceptable" or "unacceptable" based on the ability to provide new manufactured commercial items from the OEM or an approved source, ensuring full traceability and a Certificate of Conformance. Standard evaluation criteria are not applicable due to the sole-source nature of the acquisition.
