  • The sample evaluation criteria include defects related to basic material, construction, basic design, color, and sizing. A maximum of one (1) Major defect or two (2) Minor defects is allowed for an acceptable rating.
  • The new submission deadline for the sample is February 17, 2026, by 12:00 PM Eastern Time.

This solicitation (W911SD26QA020) is for the procurement of Men's Swim Trunks. The intended use is by the United States Corps of Cadets for strenuous long-term training in indoor/outdoor pools and fresh or salt water bodies.

• Product: Men's Swim Trunks.

• Material: Shell: 100% nylon supplex; Liner: 100% polyester or nylon mesh.

• Color: Shell: all black; Liner: all white.

• Design: Boxer style with liner, covered elastic waistband, one-piece inside drawstring, cut side pockets, 5-inch inseam. No manufacturer logos or visible markings.

• Construction: Clean finish seams, tacked stress points, turned and topstitched bottom hem.

• Performance: Shall remain colorfast, overall shrinkage not exceeding 5%, durable for daily wear and standard commercial laundering.

• Labeling: Permanent cloth label with size, fabric content, and care instructions inside the garment.

• Bar Code Labels: "3 of 9" format, affixed to each package, easily removable, intact during storage, proportionate size (approx. 2.5" x 3.5"). Must include BARCODE, STOCK NUMBER, DESCRIPTION, and SIZE.
