Purpose

Scope of Work
The requirement involves the removal of existing security monitor systems and the installation of new, stand-alone network security camera systems in six buildings (10251, 10253, 10255, 10261, 10263, and 10265) at JBSA Lackland. Key tasks include:
- Replacing 219 existing cameras with 222 new High-Definition Transport Video (TVI) cameras.
- Installing new racks for PoE+ switches and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) in server rooms.
- Installing new CAT6 lines for camera inputs and converting connections to Power over Ethernet (PoE).
- Replacing three workstations and eight 43-inch LED monitors in Building 10253/Rm 113.
- Installing four Network Video Recorders (NVRs) capable of 24/7/365 recording for at least 30 days.
- Providing training on system use, backup, and camera operation.
The system must be stand-alone and not connect to the Air Force network, with no classified or sensitive data used.
Technical Requirements
Detailed technical specifications are provided in the "Salient Characteristics" attachment. These include:
- Network Video Recorder: 64 TB storage, supports 7K resolution, expandable.
- Workstation: Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM, supports 4K video streaming.
- Cameras: 4 Megapixel resolution, H.264/H.265 support, IP66/IP67/IK10 protection for indoor, all-weather protective shells for outdoor.
- Monitors: 43" 4K LED TVs.
- Switches: Smart Managed PoE+ Switches (24x 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports, 370W PoE budget).
- UPS: 600 Watts / 1.0kVA output.
