Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a Solicitation - Request for Proposal (RFP) for commercial products or services, specifically Aviation Turbine Fuel (Jet A1), in accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) and FAR Part 15. The procurement is UNRESTRICTED.

• Product: Aviation Turbine Fuel, Kerosene Type, Jet (CA1), w/FSII and CI, NSN 9130-21-905-7412.

• Specifications: Must meet Standard CAN/CGSB 3.23-2023 (or latest edition), with specific requirements for Sulphur content (max 15 mg/kg) and a minimum cetane number of 40. No cetane improver additives are allowed. Metal Deactivator Additive (MDA) use must be in accordance with fuel specification.

• Testing: Requires sampling IAW STANAG 3149, with specific NWS requirements for water sounding, representative sampling, and visual inspection. Testing must be conducted by an accredited third-party laboratory.
