• Faxed quotations and photocopies will not be accepted.

• A sample of the food product may be requested prior to award.

• All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.

• Quoters must include their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number in their quotes.

• Failure to register in SAM may result in elimination from award consideration.

• FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms – Commercial Items clause is included.

• FAR 52.212-1, “Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items”, and any addendum thereto, should be reviewed.

• All communications regarding this RFQ must be in writing to the Contracting Officer.

• Discussing quote preparation or technical questions with Government technical personnel is discouraged and may result in non-consideration.

• Failure to deliver awarded products may result in being determined a non-responsible contractor, removal from the bidder's list, and future bids not being accepted.
