Quick Summary
The U.S. Air Force (430th SCMS), under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA Aviation at Oklahoma City), is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice to identify potential sources for the new manufacture of a Case and Nozzle Assembly (NSN: 2840-01-240-3588PR, P/N: 9528M23G12) for the F110 engine. This effort aims to determine if the requirement can be competitively sourced or set aside for small businesses. Responses are requested by May 28, 2026.
Scope of Work / Key Requirements
This requirement is for the new manufacture of approximately 10 units of the specified Case and Nozzle Assembly. Potential sources must be capable of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for procurement, manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Responsibilities may also extend to supply chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, managing diminishing manufacturing sources, and shipping serviceable assets. This is a new spares buy and does not include a repair requirement.
Technical Requirements / Data
Interested sources must complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package as detailed in the Qualification Requirements (QR) for this item. Manufacturing Qualification Requirements (MQR) and an Engineering Data List (EDL) are either embedded or attached to the notice. If an EDL is provided, it will annotate government-provided data; otherwise, sources must independently acquire technical data. Requests for Engineering Drawings should be submitted via email to ocalc.lgldo.public@us.af.mil. SAR package submission is electronic via DoD SAFE.
Submission & Eligibility
The government is interested in responses from all potential sources, including Large Businesses, Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The applicable NAICS Code is 336412 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. To participate, interested sources must select "ADD ME TO INTERESTED VENDORS". Questions regarding this post should be submitted to 430scms.afmc.rfiresponses@us.af.mil.
