Key responsibilities include administering the CRE program for Grades K-12, teens, and adults; recruiting, training, and mentoring Christian educators; planning and conducting an annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) if needed; and coordinating religious education in accordance with Air Force Chaplain Corps and Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) guidelines. Services also encompass support for daily masses, weekend masses, and confessions. The work requires a minimum of 30 hours per month and will be performed at PSFB Chapel facilities (Seaside, South Patrick, or Cape Canaveral), with potential for virtual performance.

Qualifications

Offerors must be a practicing Roman Catholic with a letter of good standing, possess basic computer skills, be fluent in English, and hold a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (religious studies/theology preferred), or equivalent experience. Candidates must be an approved AMS Catechist, have at least two years of relevant experience, and pass a background investigation.
