Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and personnel to maintain and repair kitchen equipment listed in the attached Covered Items List. This includes ensuring all equipment is in working order and performing repairs on inoperable items. Work must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, and the contractor must possess all required certifications for work in Washington state.
Key tasks include:
- Annual Inspection/Preventative Maintenance: To be conducted within 45 days of contract award. Repairs exceeding 2 labor hours or $100 in parts will be considered a service call.
- Service Calls: Emergency calls require technician dispatch within 24 hours; non-emergency calls within 3 business days. Pricing will be based on a flat base rate plus an hourly labor rate, as per the attached pricing schedule.
- Additional Work: Any work beyond routine maintenance or service calls requires a work order estimate and approval from the Contracting Officer (CO). Costs under $2,500 will be paid via Government Purchase Card (GPC); costs over $2,500 require a contract modification.
