The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (ACC-NJ),on behalf of the Product Director Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (PD-TMDE) awarded a contract modification under current contract W15QKN-23-D-0007 to The Boeing Company, 6200 James S. McDonnell Blvd, Saint Louis, MO, 63134-1939. This modification, P00004, to contract W15QKN-23-D-0007 increased the contract ceiling value and incorporated two additional one-year ordering periods to the current Next Generation Automated Test System (NGATS) production contract. The modification increased the ceiling value by $25,450,321.75 from $118,654,047.00 to a total value of $144,104,368.75, pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The attached Justification and Approval (J&A) addresses duplication of costs and unacceptable delays to the Government. An increase to the maximum ceiling value was necessary to facilitate the final procurement of NGATS consoles, Self TestInterface Adapters (STIAs), and shelter integrations for increased fielding requirements.
