CEILING LIGHT REPLACEMENT

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for replacing ceiling lighting, converting all lighting to LED, replacing emergency lights, and removing ceiling fans and can lighting in general areas of FLC W-143 at Naval Station Norfolk.

• Replace ceiling lighting on the 1st, 3rd, and 6th floors.

• Convert all existing lighting to LED.

• Replace all LED emergency lights as needed.

• Remove ceiling fans in hallways.

• Remove can lighting in ceiling tiles, ensuring electrical wiring is capped off safely.

• Remove speakers in ceiling tiles, ensuring electrical wiring is capped off safely.

• Ensure proper operational status of all replaced and modified lighting upon completion.

• Maintain a clean and neat working space, free of tools and materials.

• Properly dispose of all debris associated with the task.

• The work is to be performed at FLC W-143, Naval Station Norfolk.

• The Contractor shall provide a detailed schedule for accomplishing all work, to be performed during normal working hours unless otherwise approved.

• Contractor shall submit a detailed schedule of work.

• Contractor shall submit outage requests applicable to the task.

• Contractor shall submit a fall protection plan for work over six feet.

• Contractor shall obtain signed Hot Work Permits if applicable.

• Contractor shall protect surrounding surfaces from damage.

• Contractor shall perform Lock Out/Tag Out of all effected equipment.

• All work shall comply with current standard industry practices, applicable local, state and federal codes, laws and regulations, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC's), Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), US Army Corps of Engineers (EM 385), all OSHA safety regulations, EPA guidelines, base procedures, Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS), and Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guide (ADAAG).

• Hazardous Material Disclosure: Contractor must stop work and inform the Contracting Officer if unknown hazardous substances are encountered.

• A pre-proposal site meeting may be held if requested by the Contractor.

• A Pre-Performance Meeting with the Government Designated Authority is mandatory before work commencement.

• The Contractor shall provide a list of personnel, Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA), Accident Prevention Plan (APP), schedule of work, and any outage paperwork at the Pre-performance meeting.
